Welcome to the new, improved and updated guitar forum and the Acoustic Sessions Workshops website. We have updated the International Guitar Seminars discussion group to make it easier and more efficient to use. Over the years, the IGS forum had developed into a valuable resource for us all, and unfortunately, the spammers as well. So it was time to clean house. All member names, posts and passwords have been merged in this new version to make the transition as seamless as possible. The old forum has been archived so all the links to the search engines are still live. Since IGS is on hiatus, we have merged the site to Acoustic Sessions to consolidate our efforts.

International Guitar Seminars has been an incredible journey for me and co-founders Bob Brozman and Trevor Laurence. The feedback we receive from students and friends all over the world makes us very proud of what we created. From the very first seminar at Columbia University in NYC, IGS has far surpassed our initial expectations.

Each year, we expanded our program, keeping the focus on what was important; creating a place where people of like-minded interests could learn, take chances and deepening their experience of playing music. Thanks to you, the incredible staff of teachers, and the companies who provided scholarships, IGS came together as a synergistic and remarkable place enriching all of our lives in so many ways.

Enjoy the new forum and the new site. Thanks to Bob Brozman and the crew of regulars who keep the discussion lively, informative and entertaining, this new forum will continue to grow.

We will use this site to keep you informed of guitar workshops and our related events.
