John Renbourn has been widely recognized as one of the guitar world’s foremost composers and arrangers. A co-founder of the seminal folk/rock group Pentangle with Bert Jansch in the late 1960s, John has expanded his extraordinary fingerstyle approach, fusing British and Celtic Folk with Blues, Jazz, Ragtime, Classical and pre-Renaissance music, and Eastern styles. Although a master of these styles John claims that he is still simply trying to accomplish his original objective – to sound like Big Bill Broonzy. | |||||||||||||
