BLUES HEAD is an electric blues-rock band that features: LAURENCE JUBER (Wings, Grammy Winner, Fingerstyle Guitarist of the Year), GERALD JOHNSON (Former bassist for Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and The Steve Miller Band), ALICIA MORGAN (A great keyboard player who you probably don't, but should, know about), BRUCE GARY (Former drummer for Albert Collins, Jack Bruce, Bob Dylan, and The Knack), and of course, yours truly, STEVE PIERSON (No real credits, I just like seeing my name in all caps!) If you are in Southern California, then you can see this incredible line up at BB King's Blues Club this Friday, Nov. 19. Show time is 8:30 - 9:30pm. I hope everybody is doing well. I've been staring blankly at my IGS tapes trying to make sense of all the new ideas. I booked a couple of local solo acoustic gigs to force myself to play some slide live, and my own bastardization of Skip James style guitar. Please stay in touch. -Steve IP: Logged

I will be in Bethesda over X-mas and would love to get together and jam a little bit. Be nice if there was a venue in DC where we could hold court. I've never played in my old home town.
