Heres the story!
I am a leathercraftsmen by trade(27 years) and most of my time is spent working with buffalo leather. We produce belts, purses, billfolds , small leathergoods contract leatherwork and custom diecutting If you live in a town of less than 40,000 with a volunteer fire dept. we probably make the pager case they wear on their belt. The point being, we produce quantities of very similiar items day in and day out.
However on this rare occasion, production has been stopped to make 8 and only 8 buffalo hide guitar straps. Buffalo from the wilds of the Dakotas. In fact, from the triple u ranch in S. Dakota ( where "dances with wolves" was filmed)
These guitar straps are top grain buffalo hide and are adjustable, the strap is smooth leather on both sides(twice the leather) and the shoulder pad has an open cell foam insert, to comfort the guitarist shoulder. For you more sensitve types, please note that I only use road killed buffalo, so none of them got hurt in the process. Also, None of the proceeds will go to the widows and orphans fund but all, will go to the " Get Bill to New York-I.G.S." fund. I have made a total, over the last two years of 20 to 25 of these straps , from 75.00 to 85.00. In rare and unguarded moments, people have even sent letters of appreciation extolling the virtues and quality- of this product. For any I.G.S. almamater or Guitar forum participant , for one time only, and a one time only price of 69.00 you to can own one of these limited edition guitar straps.(limited to the number I can make in the course of a lifetime)
