Hello ,
strange !.
The BBC have just run a news article about the 1876 election in which Hayes and Tilsdon contested for Ulyseses Grant's Presidency , and the whole thing went wrong in ...... Dade County Fl.
The article went on to point out that losers can sometimes be winners , as in Pres.Clevland and Jackson as y'all over there don't like a Pres. who has won at any cost.
My money is on Jim Carrey playing Al and Kelsey Grammer playing the big W with the Soggy Bottom Boys doing the soundtrack.

Good luck.

Lovat.

I'm sorry to hear that a guy of Bob Brozman's stature and an apparent leader of this list has decided to posture his political beliefs in a guitar forum.

I would suggest that if you wish to discuss American politics :
1. Start a political forum
2. Learn what's really going on before you open your mouth.
3. Think for yourself and not be brainwashed by the democratic, liberal media.

To paraphrase Joseph Stalin ... 'I don't care how you vote I only care about who counts the votes'.

I agree it's a sad day in America when a candidate is allowed to change the rules of the game after the game is over.

BTW I heard the Mets are planning to dispute the World Series. They really intended to hit more balls.

Dear No One I Know,

I choose to ignore the presumptuous, insulting tone of your post. I have no more stature in the world than anyone else, and am not the leader of this forum. It is a group of friends, who can disagree respectfully.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, thanks for sharing yours. Don't insult mine (your item #2) Don't assume too much about how other people form theirs, it's egotistical and disrespectful. (Your item #3).

================>

To the others in the forum, it has been really interesting and enjoyable to read your posts. I had no idea people were so passionate about either candidate, nor did I think it would continue for weeks.

TO GET BACK TO MUSIC, let's close this thread. It takes up space on the server, and is a never ending can of worms.

I have been deep into the Djeli world for a couple of weeks, now getting back to some blues for German tour next week.

Eddie, Kay, et al, see you there??

Dear Americans,
Look at the bright side you´ll have a president that was chosen in more or less coinidential way - Next time just flip a coin it´s much cheaper ;-)
