I just received the 'Open D video' and as a buyer of over 50 of them Orville get's an A,he has excellent teaching & communication skill's. This video is up there with Brozman's and Dowling's,SOME PLAYER'S ARE GREAT MUSICIANS BUT LOUSY TEACHER'S.......Is this what IGS is like?

Confusing...... Are you asking if IGS has "GREAT MUSICIANS BUT LOUSY TEACHER'S", or teachers as goods as the videos that you like?

Since the three videos you like are taught by IGS instructors, you do the math.

I have heard that there are three requirements to be an IGS instructor:

Master Player
Great Teacher
Generous Person

Not sure what Perry was getting at, but all the teachers at IGS are great musicians AND great teachers.

BTW, where is Orville's video lesson available?

Hi Orville,

is it possible to purchase video that can be used in Europe (VHS) also is it possible that I pay you directly and you send to me privatly else the danish taxman will rob me blind?

I also send you money for a blues CD recently. I really enjoy "Slide and joy" a lot. Funny that you chose a Joni Mitchell tune so did Doug Cox on his CD "Bone glass and metal" I am an old Joni fan, shes sure the queen of strange guitartunings and good music..

here is what you wrote:

OOPS,I BETTER CLEAR THIS ONE UP QUICK....Orville's video along with Brozman's and Dowling's are not only entertaing but the teaching is top notch, which sadly is not true for many great musicians. It's rare to have both of these qualities so I can only imagine what a great experience IGS must be.Thanks for being good sports guy's, especially Orville
