For us old farts it has a lot in common with the numerology and circumlocution used in CB-speak. I dont think it makes a lot of sense to use it on a forum like this because this is not a conversational medium where we are in a hurry to get our point across. In fact our forum is valued by its many visitors around the world for its careful, sensitive, diverse but irreverent prose. oo over and out, good buddies p.s. Here is another example from a recent posting.
