First of all let me start by saying that guitars in greece are EXPENSIVE. I talked to a dealer the other day and he told me that the ESP kh-602 was not going to be available in greece (as you can guess that's the guitar i wanted). When i asked him the reason he told me that it is too expensive for an LTD model. He told me that if i wanted to spend that amount of money i should go for the ESP MII. The thing is that this guitar is bolt-on and it has esp lh 200 pickups. So the guitar with emg-81 pickups will cost me about 1700 euros. So do you think that it is worth its money or i should buy an esp kh2( thats 2400 euros). The problem is that i am 17 years old and that amount is huge for me. All i want is a neck-through guitar with an original floyd rose trem , emg 81 pickups and skull & crossbones inlays. Any suggestions are welcomed. All you esp freaks out there HELP!!! IP: Logged |

With those prices you might consider traveling to a affordable place to buy one. The savings might cover your air fare. Your age and foreigner status might qualify you for a scholarship at one of the guitar camps like IGS. IP: Logged |

Greece are in EU so you can get guitars from Europe cheaper than in greece. Consider Palmguitars in Amsterdam and also German musicshops can give you a fair deal. I would give palm guitars a ring first: German shop: http://www.musik-produktiv.de/home/home01d.asp/sid/!06082002

Hi There Just a quick note on the Palm Guitars Holland website..You would be cheaper to get a ticket from Greece to New York, spend the weekend and get a National then the prices they're charging...and still have change in your pocket. Also re Ebay - I have bought a guitar on Ebay US (albeit $150) and paid no tax - I live in Ireland best of luck Oh and I will be going to New York to get my National. thanks Dr. Johno IP: Logged |

I have never been to new York and IŽd love to go there also I love National guitars so why not go? Becouse iŽs a lot cheaper for Euroopeans to get a National Reso from Palm Guitars in Amsterdam and not gamble with the tax authorities! Guillaume put it this way: NOTHING SHOULD STAND BETWEEN A MAN AND HIS NATIONAL. Dr. Johno I play some celtic music on slide too lotsa fun .. OŽcarolan rules! IP: Logged |

I didn't know Nationals came in form of a "neck-through guitar with an original floyd rose trem , emg 81 pickups and skull & crossbones inlays". Which is what Crub3 asked for.... ![]() Anyone with any ideas as to where (in EU) he can get his 'dreamguitar' without losing an arm and a leg? IP: Logged |

Crub3, Elderly Instruments is currently running a promotional where they will be giving away an ESP neck though body guitar with EMG humbuckers and locking Floyd Rose. All you have to do is sign up for a chance to win it. Good luck! IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, the "dealer locator" on the ESP web site is not working. There is a reference to authorized dealers outside the U.S., so hopefully there are some in southern Europe. Palm Guitars' tastes don't run toward skulls and crossbones ... although I never realized that Elderly is a place where "rockers rejoice!" IP: Logged |
