Just in case this slipped by everybody, Cephas & Wiggins new album, Shoulder To Shoulder, was released this Tuesday. IGS alumni should note that this CD finally contains the long-unrecorded rendition of "Broke & Hungry" that John has been burning up Faculty concerts with for years. They played that track on a local radio station. It's got a lot of piano on it. IP: Logged |

The piano is Ann Rabson of The Uppity Blues Women. It also features Andrew Volpe on bass. More information about this new CD is here. There is a also short sample of Broke And Hungry (about 40 seconds). The CD contains some other previously unrecorded material as well. - Valerie IP: Logged |
