Hi all Just a note to let you all know that the roustabout travel acoustic lap steel by Chuck Brattain of TX, is a very nice piece of guitar for the money. I picked it up new on ebay. It is a hollow body; about 1.5 in thick; 32 in. long and about 4 to 8 wide, in a trapizoid ? shape. I tuned it to open D# as it is a 23.5 I think scale It is very resonant and has good sustain for such a small guitar. it is made of plywood, yet has a very nice tone, espescially the top four strings...would not expect the bass strings to sound like on a full sized guitar. I paid 95 + sipping and am very pleased with it Dan IP: Logged |
