The Lost World String Band will be in concert on Saturday May 3, 2008 at 7:00 PM as part of the Kalamazoo, Michigan Folklife concert series. This is the band I've played in since 1978 and the band I played with on NPR's Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor a number of times. We've recently reunited after a semi-retirement of 15 years to raise our familes (we only played 2-3 gigs a year during that time). This is the original band - accept no substitutes! Like... we're putting the band back together, man. I play guitar with the group (listen to the audio), but Saturday I'll be also be spending a lot of time on the Hawaiian steel and uke. The Lost Boys live on the radio June 2007 (just last year) - Dinah! The boys live at the Wheatland Festival late 1980's - Sweet Sue!
