If you have a spare hour:

Merlefest 2008 Hillside Album Hour hosted by The Waybacks
featuring John Cowan, Jeff Autry,Shad Cobb, Pete Wernick, Tom Rozum, Betse Ellis, Phil Wade, Tom Ball, Byron House.

One Santa Cruz acoustic guitar, a few fiddles, a bass, a dobro, a few mandolins, a harmonica, a keyboard, a banjo, drums, a few effects - and a great set of pipes .....Amazing performance....

Dan - You lucky dog! Did you catch Dowlings sets? Stuck right between Kenny Sultan and Jorma? I wish I could have been there. Sounds like four days of glorious music.

One of these years . . . . . . .

We caught Dowling's set immediately before the Wayback's album set. Smooth and effortless.....

Sunday, among others, we caught Jorma's set and the Ball/Sultan set.

Merlefest is four great days/nights of music......always something unexpected.

Plan on next year.....

Some of the Album Hour is on YouTube....search on Waybacks Zeppelin
