I am selling my National Resophonic Style 97 Tricone, number 015, made in 01-03.
This is one of the early etched and painted Surfer Girl models in nice shape.

The paint is intact on about 95% of the back and is worn away a bit on the front on the top lower bout where the right arm would rest. There is also slight discoloring of the plating in the same area, an apparently common occurance with these type of finishes.
There are a few dings on the neck from playing but it has not been abused, quite the opposite.
There is a tiny-and I do mean small-pinpoint ding on the lower side bout where you would rest the guitar on your knee.Insignificant but want to be descriptive as it will not show up in photos.

The rest of the guitar is in very nice shape.

Comes with the original case.

It is all original, sounds like a great Tricone should and due to the scarcity of this model, quite a desirable instrument.

A non-painted, etched only model recently sold on you know where for $2700 plus.

Our friend who has many Nats in California has a mint painted example for sale at $4,000.

I am looking to sell for somewhere around the middle of those two figures. Make me an offer.

I can ship from mainland USA to any of the lower 48 states for $60, packed in a proper shipping box and well-padded.

I can ship internationally to UK, Scandinavia or Continental Europe for approximately $125

I am offering it here first to someone who may want it before I list on you know where.

I used it quite a bit when I first got it, then it has sat in it's case for the last year and only used on a few recordings.

I don't know how to post photos here but
if you are seriously interested, I will email photos(which I will take tonight and have available tommorrow(April 30)
